Chrismoose Carol 1919

It’s still 2020. During our downtime at the theatre we’ve been organizing our archives and came across an old dusty box with the words “Lime Rickey” scrawled across the top. Inside we found a treasure trove of cool stuff, including an old film reel from 1919—at the end of the Spanish Flu—with what appears to be the very first recording of ‘Chrismoose Carol’.

We’re starting to restore the film and it looks to be the inspiration for all other ‘Chrismoose Carols’ that followed.
